About Ladis

Another quick Saturday jaunt, this time to the quaint Tirol village of Ladis. It has a very nice small castle - Burg Laudeck - that is amazingly framed above a small lake. The reflections are spectacular. Then you add in the wonderful Alpine views of the upper Inn valley and it is nearly perfect. In the middle of the village is a working dairy with an amazing barn with old farm equipment hanging on the walls and an automat if you need their local cheese or other local food products. Then there is a small church and graveyard with a panorama of three valleys and the castle. And we did this all before lunch. The afternoon is in the next post - such a fine day I needed two posts..
