Abbazia di Santa Giustina and the Prato della Valle...

After a brief rest in the room, we were off again. As we did not have reservations at the church with the Giotto frescos, we went to the Prato della Valle, the huge oval plaza in the south of Padova. In addition to the wonderful piazza, we visited the Abbazia di Santa Giustina. Again, we were directed to see another cathedral north of the plaza, but Santa Giustina seemed even more amazing to us. The size was amazing, but the patterns in the marble tiles on the floor were truly mesmerizing. Enjoy the photos…
