About Biennale Day One

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity – visiting the famous Biennale di Venezia. Held every two years, the Art portion of the exhibition takes over all the pavilions in the Venice Gardens, plus the Arsenal, plus another 20+ sites across Venice. We spent two exhausting days in the summer heat to visit maybe 75% of the art exhibits. This first day we drove to a nearby train station and got tickets for about 4 € to Venice, then took a crowded water bus over to the Giardini to see all the pavilions there.
