About Consumenta

Kathy and I took the excuse of going to Consumenta to book a lovely weekend in one of our favorite Bavarian cities - Nuernburg. It is a magnificent walled city with amazing towers and a wonderful Christmas Market. But also Consumenta - a really fun consumer show featuring local products, a fashion show, cars, food from around the area and Europe, clothes, and on and on... We stayed at the Le Meridian right ny the train station making it a truly train and walking weekend. The subway and the trains were less tha 500 meters away. We had a lovely large room and enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Mostly Americans in the hotel these days - Viking Cruises uses it as a base for their Danube tours.
