The towers are still here.
About Mindelheim
After recovering from Slovakia for a day, we drove an hour or so to Mindelheim. A formerly walled town between Munich and Memmingen, it is an example of one of the many beautiful small towns around here. Clean, prosperous Mindelheim, was a joy on a relatively gloomy Sunday. The city walls were torn down in the 19th century, but the towers were left standing. Mindelheim has a great central square, lots of clever guild signs all in a compact town. We had a real hoot strolling around the town..
