Up near the Belgian border.

About Hazebrouck and Cassel

After a quick visit to the wonderful downtown of Hazebrouck and the tourist information, we decided that maybe we should also look at the castle town of Cassel just up on the Belgian border. The area has lots of artists and is up in the hills. Lovely spires and cathedrals all across the area. Plenty of commerce and a lively town center - but did not hit the heart. We went up to Cassel and while we had a great lunch and a great walk - the town was too hilly for us.
